hi, my name is Ayo (they/them).
I'm a visual artist, writer and researcher from Ghana & Lesotho, currently based in Toronto.

When I was 13, I started a small greeting card company,

I created and illustrated the designs, did the product photography, marketing and sold my products at craft shows and through my online store.

Running my company taught me a lot about branding, design, illustration, customer service and how to make a cupcake with a face look cute and not creepy.
